You didn't know what to expect from the Rams in the 2015 season. They drafted a hurt running back at #10 in the first round, the offensive line was young and inexperienced, and they traded away what was there franchise quarterback,Sam Bradford, for a QB,NickFoles, who had an up and down career with Philadelphia.(Not that Bradford was so great or ever played). Well after six games into the season, dont you feel the same way? With a 3-3 record, you never know what to expect from the St.Louis Rams. Is the offense going to get you a win, or is it the defense and special teams,or is it Tood Gurley. If you look at the offensive stats, defintely since week one, you would wonder how this team has won a game of even scores points. The way the Rams have won is with defense,Todd Gurley, and punting, yes punting. Looking at most of the major stats you would think this D isn't that good, but they make the big plays when they have. With a struggling offense and time of possession going against them every week, yet they keep in every game. They lead the league in red zone defense, have a plus 4 turn over ratio, and are second in the league in sacks. Tood Gurley has been the best running back in the league during his first three starts. Averaging more than 144 yards per game in that span, he has been your offense. He also shown the explosiveness and athleticism, to warrent that tenth pick. And now to the punter, yes you're reading that right. The field position Johnny Hekker has created for the opposing team has probably won you or helped win football games. With 12 punts inside the 20 and only 2 touchbacks, Johnny Hekker has surpassed his worth and has put pressure on the opposing teams offense every week to sustain lond drives every week. So even with getting killed by the big play, bad quarterback play, and no offesive line this team has a chance to have a winning record if they can beat San Fran this week. A winning record, whens that last time you heard that 8 weeks into the season. So let your hate for Stan Kroenke go and lets enjoy the success of the Rams and watch so good and soon even winning football. It could be your last.
